No. I Mean Good Coffee.

A specialty-coffee finder for people who actually care about the cup. Curated by baristas, roasters, and the kind of regulars who ask which farm a coffee came from. No chains. No filler. No algorithmic noise.

Invitation-only · iOS & Android · Built on Expo

What's inside

Find the good cup near you

Map and list views centered on where you actually are, with shop detail pages that tell you what they roast, who roasts it, and whether they're open right now.

A real verification trail

Every contributor is invited by another verified member. Every shop owner submits a claim that an admin reviews. No drive-by reviews from people who only drink iced caramel macchiatos.

Owner-led shop pages

Shops keep their hours, specialties, amenities, and feature photos current. Posts come from the shop, not "Bob the owner" — so when something new lands on the bar, you'll know.

Check in where you actually are

GPS-gated check-ins keep the feed honest. No spamming a hundred shops you've never set foot in.

Reviews that count

One review per shop per person, editable but not duplicable. Five stars and a few sentences — the way a friend would tell you about a place.

A feed of the right people

Activity from the contributors you follow, the shops you've favorited, and what's brewing nearby. No engagement-bait, no trending tab, no celebrity baristas.

Why we're building this

Every coffee app eventually drifts into the same compromises: pay-to-rank placements, gamified streaks, fake check-ins, sponsored "best of" lists, chain pollution. The cup gets buried.

NIMGC is built around one constraint: contributors have to be invited by other contributors. That's it. The constraint compounds — the people in the network keep the network honest, because that's who they are. A barista vouching for a barista vouching for a roaster.

We don't sell placement. We don't run ads. The shop with the best cup wins because the people who know coffee say so.

Common questions

When is the beta opening?

Rolling, by region, starting mid-2026. Cities with a healthy specialty scene first. Add your email and we'll write when your area opens up.

Is NIMGC free?

The app is free for readers and contributors. We may offer paid tools for shop owners later (featured posts, analytics) but participation in the network will always be free.

How is this different from Google Maps or Yelp?

Google and Yelp are open systems with paid placement and a long tail of low-effort reviews. NIMGC is a closed network of people who care about coffee, with no advertising and no ranking-for-pay.

I own a coffee shop. How do I claim it?

Sign up, get a contributor invite from someone you know in the scene, and submit an ownership claim from inside the app. An admin reviews. Once approved, you can edit hours, specialties, amenities, photos, and post updates.

What about my privacy?

Foreground GPS only, used only when you have the app open. We don't sell data. Account deletion wipes your contributions and media. Full privacy policy when we launch.
